This week's blog is short and sweet. I have been spending my evening, non-family related time preparing for some upcoming presentations and Twitter EdChats. If you are attending #MAMSE17 or #MACUL17, please join me for my sessions:
Thursday, March 9, 2017: #mschat, Twitter
Tech in the Classroom
I will be moderating my first Twitter EdChat on Thursday. The discussion will focus on using tech in the classroom. Below is a sneak preview of the questions for the evening.

Friday, March 10, 2017: MAMSE 2017, Swartz Creek Performing Arts Center, Swartz Creek, MI
Engagement in the Middle Level Classroom
We will take a look at strategies and techniques that can be used in any classroom setting to increase engagement with students. This will be more of a hands-on workshop where attendees will be given the opportunity to experiment with the tools. I believe there will be a Wi-Fi connection, so bring your device! You'll need it.
Friday March 17, 2017: MACUL, COBO Hall, Detroit, MI
Exploring the World, One Piskel at a Time
In this session, attendees will be experience using Piskel, an online animation tool, and shown its uses for the classroom setting. This is another hands-on, explore and create session where participants will use a hands on approach to using the tool. Attendees should come prepared with a laptop device and their G-Suite login. iPads should work, but some functionality may be lost.
I look forward to seeing any and all who are interested in these sessions. Feel free to stop by and say hi! I look forward to meeting you and maybe posing for a selfie.
